Sneak Peek: A Little Harmless Fascination

We are closing in on the release date for A Little Harmless Fascination. I am really excited about this book, and about the one after that, Possession. Okay, I am always excited about new releases, but this will kick off three or four HARMLESS releases in a row. That of course, depends on the move in a couple of weeks. I hope to be able to put four out, but you know, even a move ten minutes away is bound to be a PITA.

But I digress as usual. Coming up is A Little Harmless Fascination. I do not have an exact date because I just want to put it out when it is done. I guess if y'all want a date, I can give you one, but then I would have to shove it back a couple of weeks. I figured y'all wanted it asap!

Writing Fascination brought back some old characters, including one newer one. Anna and Max make an appearance, Danny Aiona gets more air time--as he is a very flirtatious 21 year old who likes much older women, and our friend Eli St John, hero of the upcoming A Little Harmless Ride, has a very brief appearance. He is on the prowl at Rough 'n Ready of course, lol. There are also a couple of bisexual bikers who live in a house close to Jillian and they just might have to have their own book. They're ex-special forces on top it, so yum.

One thing that I liked about this one is I did it mainly as a pantzer. I am back to my old ways completely and loving it. I have a structure of the book, I now how the bad guy is, but I just let the relationship develop naturally. I hope y'all like it.

“How about a tattoo?” she asked pulling him out of his thoughts.

He choked on the drink of coffee he just took. The warm liquid shot up his nose and he winced. She handed him a napkin.

"What?" he asked.

She smiled and nodded to a tent on the other side of him.

"It's just henna. Don't look scared."

"I'm not scared. I'm just not into tattoos on me."

She pulled her glasses down on her nose so she could look over the top of them. "What about on other people?"

He could tell from the sparkle in her eyes that she was fucking with him. He looked down her arms at a sleeve of tattoos that must have taken hours to get. "Depends on the person. I especially like yours."

"Really?"

"Yeah. That and your belly button ring."

Her lips curved as she pushed the glasses back up and turned to walk away. The woman moved like a freaking temptress. He knew it was innate to her like breathing. She didn’t do it on purpose. It didn’t mean he could ignore it. His hands itched to touch, to tease, to spank.  That full ass swinging in her barely there shorts...he was sure the lack of blood in his brain wasn't good for his health.

He caught up to her. "So, is your belly the only place you're pierce?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

He slipped his hand around her upper arm and gently tugged her to the side of a tent at the end of one of the rows out of the pedestrian traffic. It was heating up, the air stifled by the arrangements of the vendors, and the humidity was rising by the minute. The scent of her filled his senses.

"Yeah, I kind of do want to know where else you're pierced."

She smiled up at him and he could tell she was going to brush him off. The Dom in him was already beating his way out. He had lain dormant for months but with Jillian around, those dominant tendencies were surfacing again.

She patted his cheek. "I only share that with intimate friends."

Jillian turned to leave but he grabbed her arm again.

"Don't mess with me, Jillian. I don't like it, not that way."

Her eyes narrowed as she looked down at his hand on her upper arm.

"If you're not interested, just say leave me the fuck alone, Conner."

He waited, holding his breath. He hadn't meant to challenge her, hadn't known this was so important right now. It was. More than he had ever expected, it was beyond that now. Why this woman, right now, he had no idea. But the need he had building in him was starting to take over any sane thought he had. He knew right now if he didn’t have her soon, there was a good chance he might just go a little insane. If she said to fuck off, he would be screwed.

When she didn’t say anything, Conner let loose the breath and nodded. "Good, then we understand each other. Just know that when I ask you that question again, I will expect an answer."

The first Harmless print by myself! Well, not really by myself. Kendra Egert did the wonderful cover and Chloe Vale did the formatting:) This should be releasing in early May. Addiction is due to release so I will have it ready then. 

Some Updates and What Not

Callum is just about done and should be going out tomorrow, hurrah! I wanted to let you know that I had to rework the schedule. I have talked about this before, but I wanted to give you a little heads up about how I will process from now on.
I have six more new releases planned for this year. That doesn't count the shorties I will be releasing for free, my rereleases, or my Kiera West or Melissa Schroeder Siren releases. That last bit is important. I have three more books due in for the Great Wolves series. To be able to do that, I have to space out my selfpubs. I also have two more Texas Temptations planned, so in order to get that done, I have to lighten my schedule.
I am also homeschooling now and we have decided to move on base. Well, we hope to move on base. Not sure if it will work out, but I think it will. So, I have a lot on my plate this year and I want to make sure I can give my readers the quality they expect.
Another little plug here and then I am reading through Callum one more time before formatting. I am going to start posting chapters on my Facebook Fan Page. You will have to LIKE it to see it, so make sure you do that so you don't miss out. I am presently working on a new website and there will be a member only area, so this is just getting us ready for it:)

THE BIG NEWS

I have been talking about this for a few weeks and now I can finally announce it. I am now going to be releasing my Harmless books by self publishing them. For readers that means I will be putting out some kind of Harmless book every few months, no more than three for the first year, and my first two are going to be back to back in October and November. The decision to do this was mainly business.  Plus, once I turn a book in and it is contracted, it will take well over six months to get it out. In fact, from what I am hearing they are scheduling next summer right now. While I understand this is for their own business reasons, and I respect that, I also have my own business concerns and they are not jiving with their business model. It isn't anything personal, just a business decision that I believe will make me happier--and give your more Harmless Books. So, without much further ado, here is the Harmless Lineup for the next few months:

Now, I will be doing a short, A Little Harmless Gift, for Micah and Dee, probably in December.  Past that, there will be two historicals in February, two new paranormal series, and more Harmless books including two military harmless romances in 2012. I will give more info if I decide to do print. I cannot do print until after Addiction comes out in May, so it will be summer before I can do that. I want to thank all my readers for supporting this series and I hope I can count on your support in my future endeavors.

A Little Harmless Surprise: Get Yours Free

I am working hard on A Little Harmless Surprise, hope to have it up on Kindle and B and N by the 20th of the month. It will be short, really short, less than 10K. But, to load it on the sites, I have to charge 99 cents for it <G>. So, what I am going to do is offer it for free here. The one catch is that I expect a review, please. It doesn't have to be one where  you love, love, love it, but a review on Amazon and/or B and N is the price tag. There are a few things to remember before you request it though:

This is a continuation of A Little Harmless Obsession. It will not be a full story, but will give a lead into the next story:) Please, please, please don't get this without reading ALHO and then say you are confused because it isn't a full story. I don't mind if you haven't read Obsession, but I am warning up front that it is a better read if you have.

There is no real HEA because Evan and May already have their HEA.  What it will give you is a glimpse into how far their relationship has progressed and really, what changes it has brought in Evan.

I will also have my other two freebies will be included. I am not really looking for reviews of them, they are less than 4K a piece, but I want to put them in there so Kindle and Nook readers can have them in the right format on their readers.

I will only have PDF copies for advance reading.

Lastly, there will be an exclusive look at A Little Harmless Addiction in it.

Meet Your Next Harmless Hero!

Starting this week, I am back in Harmless Land. I had planned on writing Devon's book, but that is going to be the one after this. See, there was a hot, hot guy chatting in my ear. He would not shut the hell up. Once I started listening, the damned heroine showed up. Now, I can't think of anything else.

My working title is A Little Harmless Submission. I hope that Samhain actually wants it when I turn it in next month!

Rome Carino. You might remember the cop who handled May's case in A Little Harmless Obsession. He is a Dom who now has an honorary membership to Rough n Ready. This book is going to have a lot or suspense with a serial killer on the loose in the club. Worse, the FBI will be popping up demanding to be in charge of the investigation. His heroine is actually an FBI agent, Maria O'donnell.

Yep, that is Linda Carter and that is our herione. Second generation FBI agent, her father was a legend in the Bureau so she has a lot to live up to.

I have been so excited I could barely keep this to myself, but I did! A Little Harmless Sex is now free for download from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Now, I know a lot of you have read it. An Impromptu Harmless Contest

So, I am busy editing, writing, doing paperwork,ugh on that last thing, and I'm still trying to catch up with my emails from when I was out of town. But, I came up with a great idea for my next Harmless book, woo hoo. Many of you have read A Little Harmless Obsession, right? Detective Carino was the one in charge of May's investigation and I have decided, unless things change, that he will be the next Harmless Hero. I have planned on Devon's story, and I still might do that next, but an idea formed around the idea of a serial killer stalking Rough n Ready club members.
I don't have the plot completely worked out, but he is going to be going undercover with an FBI agent inside the club to find the killer. Of course, there are going to be some problems with his partner, mainly he can't keep his hands off her, lol.
So, why don't we do a contest. I hate starting to work without a title. It is BDSM with suspense. So, why don't you all give me some Harmless title ideas for this book? You can also just chime in on some that you like if you come in later on. Up for grabs, an ARC of A Little Harmless Addiction, or anything else in my backlist. Just answer in the comments.  I will run the contest until noon on Sunday, May 1st eastern time. I will randomly pick a winner's name from everyone who answered or chimed in!
