TRADING CARDS

I am bringing an insane amount of promo with me to Authors After Dark. I have always said that once I was making money where I could afford it, I would definitely do it. I have lots of different cover flats, some magnets, bookmarks and then, I have a few surprises for everyone;) Here are two of the newest additions to my promo, newly designed trading cards. Brandy Walker designed them for me.

An AAD Exclusive!

I was thinking about something to do special for AAD, beyond what I am already doing. So, I figured, why not have A Little Harmless Military Romance Anthology! Now the final cover did not have the AAD 2012 moniker because I wasn't sure if I would still make it exclusive. But, I will have it there and it will only be sold there.
It includes all three stories out now: Infatuation, Possession, Surrender and is a massive book.
I am going to have a limited about of copies, but if there is a lot of interest, I will order more for it.

Updates and what not

I want to give everyone a big update on things that are going on with me.

Many of my readers on FB and Twitter already know that I was recently diagnosed with very high blood pressure. It is now under control, but the first few weeks while they were playing with the meds, were very hard on me. Nothing like bending over to pick something up off the ground and almost passing out. Either way, I was ordered to start taking it easier. I am a workaholic and tend not to understand that I am pushing myself too hard. What it means is that I have to slow down a bit on the writing. Not much, but I really need to make sure that if I need a break that I step away from the computer. So, that is why Desire by Blood has been pushed back a few weeks and it will probably not be at AAD. Now, I will have uncorrected ARCS for it at AAD.  Or that is the plan. These days, I cannot say anything for sure because some days, like yesterday, ROCK, and other days, just suck. Sort of like today.
One other thing, I will NOT be doing any major updating to the website. Wax Creative is almost done with my new site and I am just cannot deal with having to do a bunch of updates at the moment. Once the new site goes up, and it is SUPER COOL, the updating system will be streamlined and links to various online places will be included. It will be much more user friendly with all kinds of cool stuff. Also, I will not be doing that much blogging because I am going to start a new wordpress blog. But I will be throwing a HUGE party on my blog when I go live and I will also have a newsletter contest.
I am sure all of you can understand that this is a very trying time for my family and me. Les is busy as course director through all of this and I have to push ahead and get everything finalized for AAD. I do not want people to think that I am being lazy, it is just a necessity right now or I would end up cancelling things like I did in 2007.
I hope readers are not too upset. I promise, come this late summer and early fall, everything will be up to date and the site, OMG, it is KICK ASS.

Cover flat goodliness

Brandy was trying to be nice to me because well, I am a whiner when I move. So, look what she made me! These are going to be made up like a cover flat, the first pic will be the front and the second the back! I am going to be ordering some soon. So excited. I will have them at AAD with me and if you know of any smaller cons, review sites or blogs that would like to have some to give to readers, let Brandy or I know. I really need to learn my new address so I can order them. 

Authors After Dark Schedule Goes Live

Hey, everyone! Well, the schedule just went live and I am super excited. The authors have known for a few days how everything was set up, but I was a good girl. I want to give you some info on the stuff I am handling.

 I will probably be there before everyone else. I am planning on being there by Monday night. So know that you CANNOT ESCAPE MEETING ME.

So, here is the info I was telling you about.

Those are all subject to change:)

I will also be hosting the Saints and Sinners Open Bar with Kris Cook again and I will be one of the authors reading at the Historical reading.

If you are a Harmless Addict and have said you are coming to the party, it will not be on the schedule. That is a private party and only you Addicts know where and when that is.

Now, my solo event--my first EVER solo at AAD--is my Cursed N Blood Affair. There will be hurricanes to drink and some king cake with surprises. I will also have some great giveaways, including a registration fee for AAD Savannah 2013!!!! So, make sure you at least stop by to enter the contest.  Ya don't have to stay to win;)

I am off to write some more. A Little Harmless Fascination rough draft is almost done. woo hoo. And then I am Kiera for a few days as I write the next Passion book.
