WOR Day FOUR: A Little Harmless Sex

This is the book that started it all. I came up with the name before the characters, because, well, it sounded like a really good title. I guess I was right, lol.
Also, this is the book that not only made the International Best Seller is for June of 2005, but was named one of the top 100 best selling NookBooks of the YEAR. That is fiction and nonfiction.
Again, same rules. Follow me, comment, you get two entries in the chance for the 25 dollar GC at the book retailer of your choice. Good Luck.
Question of the Day: For winter holidays, do you prefer cold snowy days, or do you want to wear a bathing suit to the beach on Christmas morning?

“Max, I think you’ve had too much to drink.”
Her eyes sparkled with humor. She had the greenest eyes he’d ever seen. No hint of another color, just green. Like the lawn behind his home in springtime. No matter how flamboyant her personality, or how seductive she was, there was always a hint of intelligence in her eyes. Anna licked her lower lip. He followed the movement, entranced by the sight of her tongue flitting out over her fuller bottom lip. His dick hardened as he thought of her using that mouth and tongue on him. His balls twitched as he imagined the feel of her lips moving over his flesh, the heat of her mouth against his cock.
“What I was talking about is my problem with men.”
“You don’t have problems with men.” In Max’s opinion, men came too easily for her. For a girl who’d barely dated in high school, she’d made up for lost time. “You date too much.”
Anna collapsed against the arm of the sofa in a fit of laughter. “What you mean is I fuck too many guys. I don’t sleep with all of them, Max. But, on the other hand, I’m not embarrassed by my sexuality.”
“Of course not. You brag about it.”
She nudged him with her foot. “I do not. I just don’t hide it. And truth is, there’s a double standard. No one in this freaking town thinks anything of a man having a sex life, but they still hold the antiquated idea that women are supposed to be virgins or hate sex.”
He really wished she would quit talking about sex. Talking about sex was the next thing to having it. Sitting so close, he could feel the heat of her body. It was wreaking havoc with his thought process. She kept talking about sex and each time she said the word it reminded him he couldn’t touch. Which just sucked, and—to quote Anna herself—not in a good way.
She poured herself another shot. Lick, drink, suck. Max shifted, trying to ease the ache in his balls. She purred, her enjoyment of the drink almost making him come in his pants.
Anna leaned back against the multitude of pillows piled on her red sofa. Her dark curls spilled over the vibrant colors. She made the perfect picture of a sensual gypsy. His heart smacked against his chest at the sight of her crooked smile.
“No, I think I figured out that I measure every man against you.”
The thought of Anna measuring men’s dicks with a ruler popped into his tequila-soaked brain. “You measure them? And how do you know how big I am?”
She stared at him for a moment. Confusion clouded her eyes, then dissolved into amusement. Her laughter filled the room.
“No, I don’t mean like that. Although you do have very large hands.” She took a sip and then shook her head. “No, I meant by the way they act.”
“Oh.” The heat of embarrassment crept up his neck and into his face. Anna had been right. He’d had too damn much to drink, especially if he was thinking about Anna measuring his dick.
“All I know about you in that regard is the way you kiss. And you’re very good.” Anna shrugged one shoulder. “I guess everyone thinks first kisses are special, though.”
The memory he’d shoved to the back of his brain pushed forward. He’d been home after graduation, full of himself for doing it with honors. He’d come upon Anna crying over some boy. When Anna had told him she’d never even been kissed and begged him to, Max lost control and gave in to the urge that had haunted him for six months, since the last time he’d seen her. He’d dreamed of that kiss, and more, every night for weeks.
Even after returning to work on his MBA, he’d been haunted by the taste of her lips, the feel of her skin and the thought of what it would have been like to sink into her heated pussy. He wanted nothing more than to possess the right to touch her and make her moan. The need to touch her had clawed inside him. It was wrong then, and wrong now. He still couldn’t stop the primal animal who wanted her, especially when the sane businessman was shitfaced.
“You know, that probably was a mistake,” she said, drawing him out of his memories.
He shook his head, trying his best to clear the newest image he’d invented. “Mistake?”
“Yeah, you’re a really good kisser. And then I had to go out with Tommy Reynolds later that month. He couldn’t kiss worth a damn. All spit and tongue. You’re a tough act to follow.”
The laughter faded from her eyes, replaced by something much darker. Desire so potent he felt the singe of it all the way to the soles of his feet. Blood rushed to his groin. Anna leaned closer, her wildflower scent surrounding him, arousing him. She placed her hand on the back of the couch, then lifted her leg over him and straddled his lap. Her skirt flowed over his pants. When she settled on him, the wet heat of her sex warmed his shaft. Max groaned, his body tightening in response. Her hair slid off her shoulders and brushed his chest, tickling his neck.
His lips were within inches of hers. The only thought that came to mind was taste. A stolen peach on a balmy summer morning. Sweet, delicious, irresistible. He desperately wanted to take a huge bite. She leaned closer, tempting him and driving him insane. Her tongue darted out over her plump, full lower lip. When she spoke, arousal deepened her voice. Her sweet southern accent curled around him and into his heart.
“So, Max, since you’re so good at kissing, I was wondering how good you are at fucking.”

I am so not a winter person. I would love it to live in a tropical climate where I never had to deal with cold weather.

I would rather have a third choice lol. I like a nice cool day but no snow or ice. Snow always looks pretty but if you have to go out in it ewwwwww. I don't like alot of sun either so.............. I am not sure where I can move.

Definitely cold and snowy days!

I've done the cold and snow for 46 years. I would be willing to try a bathing suit and beach at least once.

Being from So Cal anything below 50 is cold for me! I wouldn't mind a day of snow but then I would like it to go away! :)
I prefer warm, sunny beach days over cold and snow and shoveling driveways!!

Opps, I forgot to answeryour question. Mia Culpa.

Having spent most of my life in Michigan shivering, I would love to spend Christmas morning on the beach in a bathing suit.

It sounds heavenly to me.

Well, living in Europe kinda has me used to winter, snowy, cold days....ugh.

I have lived in climates where Christmas was hot and we could go to the beach and it was really strange. It wasn't like Christmas at all for us. The poor hubby was so homesick for a good old European winter. Hehe!!!!

I'm already sick of the snow and the cold. So I'd like to be on a beach this Christmas.

Cold and snow-- yes, please!

We don't have snow here at Christmas; just cold rain. I wouldn't mind either, as long as I was prepared for it! And honestly, I couldn't stand a long stretch of snow--it'd be great to have it for the day, and then have it melt away! ;)

Though I would never want to live in the snow, I do like a brisk winter day for Christmas. I've never done a Hawaii Christmas, but lots of people do, and love it.

I can handle the cold as long as there is not any snow. I prefer cool over hot or cold though.

I can do without the snow, and the cold makes me hurt. Just give me sunny days.

Now that I'm an adult, I much prefer a warm Christmas. When I was a kid, the more snow the better.

Winter as long as the pantry and fridge are stocked. Once inside I don't want to go back out.

I like a little nip in the air, but I'm not a snow girl. There have been Christmases past that I did indeed go to the beach. The weather here is a bit unpredictable this time of year.

I have never actually seen a beautiful snowfall at Christmas or at any time. I drool over snowfalls in movies like White Christmas or even when watching the bowl games in Northern locations, so I would love to see a real snowfall at Christmas. I even love receiving Christas cards with snow scenes on them.

Maybe some day....
