WOR Contest Day #1: Mele Kalikimaka, Baby

Good morning, everyone! Well, today starts the WEEK OF RELEASES. I will add the jargon here for the contest and then I will share an excerpt from Mele Kalikimaka, Baby!

CONTEST:

You must participate in the question of the day on the blog to get one entry for a chance at the 25 dollar GC Mel is giving away. If you follow the blog, you get two chances. The contest ends at 8 am TUES Dec 14th, name will be posted during the day. By entering the contest you are agreeing that you are over 18 years old and by entering you are getting a chance to win. Good Luck!

Yadda, yadda....
And so, off to the next BIG RELEASE.
Mele Kalikimaka, Baby is a book I have been wanting to write for years. Not so much the characters, but the title. And, when these characters popped up, I knew they were perfect for it.

It is what I consider a short story/short novella. It is not as long as most of my work, but I thought readers would enjoy the nice break from the holiday craziness. And, well, there are two hunky Hawaiian Heroes...you can't lose! This is the first of three books. The second is out later this month, Sex on the Beach.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
If you could spend one day in Hawaii, what would you want to do? The beach, a luau, Pearl Harbor? Let me know.

EXCERPT

Sophia gasped as Mal took her mouth in a hard, needy kiss that had her head spinning. Lord, both of these men could kiss. His tongue danced over hers, inviting, tempting, pulling her into the kiss.
Jack pushed her hair to the side and undid the top of her halter dress. Mal pulled back and let the fabric fall to her waist. Cool air brushed over her hot flesh as he bent and took one nipple into his mouth. Heated pleasure danced over her nerve endings as he sucked then scraped his teeth over her nipples. God, he was insane with his mouth. She did not even notice that jack was pulling at the rest of her dress until it slipped down her legs.
“Oh, my, Mal. We have a very naughty girl on our hands.” Jack’s voice deepened, desire threading through it. He slipped his fingers over her slit.
Mal pulled back. His gaze traveled down her bare body, stopping briefly at her shaved pussy, then down the path to her sandals. By the time his gaze moved back up to her face, she was red with embarrassment.
“Definitely naughty,” he said, his mouth kicking up on one corner. “Wearing no panties, no bra, going out with two men…I think you’re a dream come true.”
Even in her embarrassment, she felt a sense of pride. It wasn’t like her to go without lingerie, but tonight, for some reason, she did it. She had told herself that it was because of the heat and the style of the dress, but she knew that to be a lie. She had wanted to be bad, without any thought that anyone would know. She thought she could have her little naughtiness and only she would be the person to know. But then, she had not expected to come back to her condo and agree to bed two men.
“I think we are in for a hot time tonight, cuz,” Jack said.
Mal nodded, then bent over, slipping one arm beneath her knees, the other at her back, and picked her up. Her sandals slipped off and clattered against the tiled floor, but she paid no attention. Mal was watching her as he carried her, his eyes so intense she was afraid to look away.
He laid her on the bed gently and followed her down. It felt odd being completely naked and having a man on top over her who was completely clothed. But she wasn’t given time to think about it. Mal moved down her body, his mouth moving over her flesh, nipping and teasing her until he settled between her legs.
She rose to her elbows to watch. He slipped his hands over her thighs and spread them further apart. Damn, she wasn’t a prude by any standards, but she could feel the blush rushing over her skin. She would be ever cursed with the damned fair skin.
“I love that you shaved down here,” he said, while he slipped his fingers over her sensitized flesh. “Damn, these pretty pink lips are wet.”
Jack had pulled off his shirt and was only in his jeans. He kneeled on the bed by her stomach and slid his hand down to her pussy. He slipped a finger into her at the same time Mal did. She collapsed on the bed as the sensations moved over her. Both of them fingered her, in rhythm. Wet heat pooled there. She knew it was dripping over their fingers.
“Fuck,” Mal said as one of them added another finger, bringing the number up to three. “I can’t wait to sink my cock into this tight little pussy.”
“Hmm, yeah,” Jack said and someone rubbed against her clit. Without warning her orgasm was on her, shooting her from aroused into a vortex of heated pleasure as it blasted through her.
“Holy shit!” Mal said.
As she was drifting down from the orgasm, she felt Jack move off the bed. Before she could even open her eyes, she felt Mal’s hot breath on her cunt. She lifted her head and looked down at him. His eyes were closed as he set his mouth on her. A look of sheer pleasure moved over his face as his tongue pierced her pussy.
She heard a chuckle from Jack and she glanced at him. He was naked, his entire body there for her to see. She had been right about his build, about the way his long muscles would look under that light brown skin. Her gaze traveled down to muscled chest, sculpted abs, to his erection, which curved up to his belly. She swallowed.
“Are you ready for a taste?” he asked as he crawled beside her on the double bed.
She nodded. “Oh, yes.”

I would definitely pick the beach. I've never seen the ocean.

Oh! This cover is SO yummy! Mel, you are TOO generous! *MUAH* If I could spend 1 day in Hawaii, I'd visit my Dad and Stepmom, then go visit my Sister, Bro-in-Law and neices - then I'd spend a little time in Lahaina, probably browse The Shops at Wailea, catch a sunset show at the Sheraton (ok, so I'd do that while I was over in Lahaina) for sure the beach, maybe some diving, also upcountry. UGH I miss it...

The book sounds yummy! For me, it would be a toss up between diving and hitting the beach.

I would do a traditional luau with a giant pig roast on the beach at the same time. Usually they're on the beach! MMMmmm pig roast...nom nom nom.
Gorgeous cover!

A hot steamy read for those of us in a frozen wasteland.

The beach! Growing up near Philly, I've seen the Atlantic many times. I want to swim in the Pacific. No better place than Hawaii

Definitely the beach. I'd love to learn to scuba dive there too.

I have actually done 1day in Hawaii. So, i would say i wuld spend the day on a private beach with hubby. (if we could fond it :P) followed by an evening at a wonderful traditional luau. only because we've done Pearll Harbour.

Oh, yes, I'm ready! ;)

As for my day in Hawaii, a walk on the beach, followed by a picnic so I could watch the waves for a bit. A hula lesson (I know I'd be all thumbs, two left feet, hopelessly rhythmless, and all that, but it'd be fun!) and a luau, please. With plenty of bug spray. On me, not the pig.

And boy, thanks for that excerpt, Mel! Yowie!

Well, I'd like to 'do' those guys, but my second choice? Beach, for sure, and definitely Pearl Harbor.

Colleen said...

I would like to see the beautiful scenery... the men, nature itself... :)

Lori Ann said...

I think I would just stay on the beach all day soaking in the beauty that surrounded me. The water always looks so blue and beautiful when I see Hawaii on television.

I've been to Pearl Harbor and to several luaus including the one at the religious university (name escapes me), so I'd actually spend some time on the beach. We always go to museums, Volcano National Park, etc. but I think I've spent maybe 2 hours on the actual beach.

Tyhada,
I have never seen such beautiful water before. I go the beaches on the mainland, and while I LOVED Maine, it just could not compete with those beautiful waves in Hawaii.

Bonnie,
I am so excited we are going back. The youngest was born at tripler, but we left when she was a toddler. It is going to be exciting to go back and see her experience it.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Heather, I have always wanted to learn to dive. It is on my list of things to do in the next three years.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Thanks, Eileen. Love Luaus, especially the one at Paradise Cove.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Anonymous...I can't enter you if I don't know your name, lol. But I do miss the beach.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Hey, Gypsy! I thought people might enjoy the escape, yes? Hope you are staying warm.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Chris,
Yes, there is nothing like those waters off Hawaii.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Connie,
I hope to do that soon. I have always wanted to scuba.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Tammie,
That sounds like a great day.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Fedora,
LOL, I like that idea.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Terry,
I am going to spend much time when I am there this April looking for Mal and Jack, lol

Melissa Schroeder said...

Colleen,
After moving there, my first trip off the island was to Denver. I was confused by all the clothes people were wearing lol

Melissa Schroeder said...

Raven,
TV doesn't do it justice.

Melissa Schroeder said...

Anne,
That is my plan in April. I want to spend most of our days just on the beach, relaxing. I have promised no laptop too, at least on the beach. lol

Definitely the beach....with Gerard Butler to wait on me.

Then an evening meal before heading back to the hotel for some........well, use your imagination....hehe!!!

If I'm only getting one day I would seriously have to make sure I got to do all the things you've suggested! Then I'd make a wish and ask for another day or 10!

I would love to go to Pearl Harbor and pay my respects. Then I would love to go check out the beach.

Jane said...

Pearl Harbor first and then maybe attend a luau at night.

Loved the excerpt, Melissa. I would love to go enjoy the ocean. Don't know how to scuba dive, but would love to go snorkeling. Clear, warm water, and lots to see, sounds perfect to me.

I would pick the beach because it sounds so relaxing and warm (I'm stressed and cold right now, if you couldn't tell). Thanks for the contest!

Snorkeling at a beach near Kailua-Kona (I've forgotten the name of the beach but it's the one everybody snorkels at). I'm not a big fan of luaus, especially poi. Too bad the green sand beach is gone or I'd go there, too (yes, I really like the Big Island).

I have seen a book about a fabulous tropical garden on the Big Island and I drooled over the pictures of the unbelievably beautiful plants that a man had collected from all over the world. There is no tropical plant collection to match that garden in the entire world and I would so love to visit the garden. With all of the regulations now in effect regarding not taking plants from one country to another there is no way anyone could attempt to duplicate that Hawaiian garden. The fact that a man dedicated years to collecting plants for that tropical garden is a wonderful gift to anyone privileged to visit it. Such a visit would be a dream come true for me.

Holy crap, that was a hot excerpt. :) Loved it. I definitely would have to go to Pearl Harbor first.

I would just like to travel around and sightsee. I've only seen pictures of Hawaii, and I'd love to see it in person.
